About This Project

The Brief

For the third consecutive year, Added Dimension was tasked with providing a fundraising Gala for the organisation’s most dedicated supporters. This year the event was to be inspired by the SHARE, Women for Women International’s cookbook featuring personal recipes from humanitarians such as Emma Thompson, Dame Judi Dench, Annie Lennox, as well as from celebrity chefs including Jamie Oliver and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.

The Added Dimension

Hosted by June Sarpong, the Gala Dinner took place in the stunning Banqueting House.

The theme for the evening was focused on cooking and the celebration of food so a rustic scene was created for the evening; Table centres were inspired by raw colourful fruit, vegetables and herbs, charming hessian table cloths and a themed three course dinner by one of London’s top caterers.

One of the many highlights of the evening was Chris Jackson, Women for Women International supporter and Cosmopolitan’s Ultimate Man Award winner, running his 13th marathon for women in war-torn areas on a treadmill, live on the Throne!

The Result

The evening raised £440,000, which will go towards helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives in the eight countries affected by war and conflict where Women for Women International works. As ever, the clients were thrilled with the success of the event.
