An 80th Birthday is a wonderful milestone which shouldn’t go unnoticed so Added Dimension Events planned the Birthday girl a special family surprise party set in a glorious country garden.
An unscheduled stretch tent was erected with just 24 hours’ notice due to the torrential rain forecast and the rain did come but definitely did not dampen the fun or the surprise for the Birthday girl.
From the moment the guests entered the garden they were overwhelmed with a beautifully designed trail of fabulous pink balloons leading them to the marquee which was positioned next to the poolside in the garden. Cascading over fences and peeking out of gates, the balloons climaxed in the spelling of the Birthday girl’s name at the end of the pool for a wonderful focal point.
With champagne flowing, all the excited guests assembled under the marquee around the pool where the Birthday girl arrived to be greeted by her loving family who helped her celebrate this special day.
A delicious BBQ lunch was served by top caterers accompanied with flowing pink champagne and Pimms on ‘picnic tables’. Gingham tablecloths and tasteful green and white floral centres adorned the tables to add to the outside/picnic vibe and everyone was entertained and kept amused by a fabulous magician. The charismatic team of entertainers ensured all the children had a fabulous time playing magical games in the gardens.
As the sun broke through the clouds, the special surprise guests, the amazing West End Jersey Boys, took to the stage to dazzle the delighted guests and serenade the Birthday girl. With classic hits such as “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Can’t Take My Eyes off You” there was no excuse for all the guests not to dance along which they did all afternoon…a perfect Birthday!
