The Brief

Design and deliver an exclusive party for Akvinta Vodka, announcing its global presence to 500 guests at the Cannes Film Festival.

The Added Dimension

To achieve the purest, cleanest taste, Akvinta Vodka uses a patented Quintuple Filtration® process during the manufacture of its product. This process is also inherent to the brand identity, and we used it as the creative inspiration for the event.  We built an illuminated dancefloor over the pool, with the focal point of the party being a specially designed Gold Bar, which housed an elevated DJ booth.

Britain’s Got Talent finalists Escala entertained guests, performing a specially arranged piece culminating in a spectacular pyrotechnic show – at which point the Gorillaz hijacked the show for a DJ set, coupled with their signature projections onto the villa and grounds.

The Result

The party generated excellent media coverage both in the UK and internationally, paving the way for Akvinta Vodka to announce its arrival in the premium spirit marketplace.
