About This Project
Having taken over sponsorship from Burberry five days before this inaugural BAFTA event, Sky needed us to produce a spectacular, memorable, stylish and exclusive drinks party in keeping with both brands. We also needed to unmistakably position Sky as the event’s new, exclusive sponsor.
The Added Dimension
Using the Natural History Museum as the backdrop, we projected the Sky and BAFTA logos onto the fascia of this magnificent venue, creating a stunning photo opportunity for the media. Inside, we used a monochromatic black-and-white theme, with architectural lighting to take full advantage of the building’s striking features.
The English National ballet provided the entertainment, performing freestyle moves to a live DJ, while black Swarovski crystals complemented the black-and-white styling of the event.
Both the BAFTA and Sky brands received extensive coverage in the UK press, positioning Sky as the headline sponsor.
