On a golden summers evening in June, guests were welcomed into the magical secluded Chelsea Physic Garden to help celebrate our client’s Indian Inspired Summer Party.
Greeted by two glamourous ladies dressed in beautifully decorative and colourful Saris, they made their way through a path lined with tall candle filled lanterns to an Indian style tent. With the spectacular craftsmanship of the traditional Indian tent clear to behold, the aesthetically pleasing and flexible space created an evocative setting perfect for showing off the beautiful surroundings of the gardens.
With sky blue, hand embroidered drapes complemented by hot pink cushions and white wooden furniture, the interior of the tent was perfect. The subtle gold stitched pattern of the bespoke circular bar also added luscious texture to the large gold urn that was filled with an abundance of delphiniums and peonies. These added another shock of colour and made for an eye-catching focal point.
Guests were treated to a feast of delicious Indian summer inspired canapés and exotic cocktails. The bright colours against the luscious greenery felt as if guests had been transported to the gardens of the Taj Mahal rather than a little corner of Chelsea!
Oyster Boys dressed in Indian attire roamed throughout the guests serving fresh delicious oysters. Guests also couldn’t help but dance as The London Essentials bopped and jived through the gardens. Glamorous belly dancers also enchanted guests with their every move.
As the sun began to set, guests made their way inside the tent to treat themselves to a sugar filled sweetie station pick’n’mix. Lanterns hanging from the starry tent ceiling were lit, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere for guests to continue dancing the night away and enjoy the wonderful Indian inspired summer evening.
